Meet-up with Nadine in Berlin

Hello! <3

As you can see, I'm finally able to blog a little bit more often.
Let's how long I can do this, haha...

On Saturday I was finally able to meet my dear Nadine after such a long time!!

We haven't seen each other for more than a year... I guess... 2014?
I'm not sure - so I was really happy to see her again.

(And if my cold comes back to me after that day... it was worth it!)

So I decided to do my nails for her the evening before, haha.

The March issue of CanCam had some great Jill Stuart nail sticker as a gimmick
and I wanted to try them out because they really give you some spring feeling!

We started at Hauptbahnhof, where I picked her up.

I was really proud of her accomplished goal to lose weight - 24 kg!
She always looked good but now also really healthy! <3

(If you ask about her success: eating normally and healthy food, doing workouts everyday - and really: She still eats ice-cream, fried chicken, etc.)

We wanted to make Purikura this time and so we went to the J-Store shop.

Because we were too early we stopped at an Asian market first, just looking for some special sauce and I myself bought some buckwheat noodles.

The J-Store when was already open around 11.45 AM and here they are:

We really are a little bit stiff... haven't done Purikura for a while now

but still I really love them. <3

And funny thing that we both wear a denim blouse that day!

As I told you once before, Nadine introduced me to these awesome photo booths.

We continued our journey to Zoologischer Garten because we wanted to so some... window shopping but in the end it was more than that - of course.

My first ZARA item ever - finally.

Clothes never fit me before.

I wanted to have some simple red shirtdress - I love that colour so much! <3

And going to UNIQLO - I also found a nice little dress.

I want to combine it with a cute little denim jacket and brown sandals.

So what else?

After doing some shopping for her boyfriend we went to a nice café at

Friedrichstraße and finally had our girl's talk, looking through some magazines, etc.

This day meant so much to me!

I really missed her and since the distance has gotten bigger we have to call each other much often which is also great but not the same, right?

I really treasure such days like today!!

June Haul

Hey! ♥

After searching for a long time I finally found a lot
of nice clothes on Saturday.

I went to Ku'damm after work to go to UNIQLO and FOREVER 21.

There were a lot of great items and I really would have
looked a little bit more through the wardrobe but to be serious...
that would not have been good and I would have spent
too much money.

Most of the items were on sale nevertheless. ♥

So, here's what I bought:

F21 items:
a denim dark blue flared skirt, denim hot pants, denim shirt,
short top with floral print, scrunchies

UNIQLO items:
grey cotton maxiskirt, black striped 3/4 shirt, Where's Wally T-Shirt

My lil'sis told me that these items were absolutely me... haha.
Oh and because I mentioned "absolutely me" ...

And afterwards I just stopped at DOUGLAS because last time
I finally found some awesome lipstick-lipgloss:

chubby stick by CLINIQUE.
And I wanted to have some new nail polish that maybe last longer than
others: ANNY #183 Absolutely me.

Really expensive since I usually don't buy expensive cosmetics.

Some dressroom pictures

I liked that top but after wearing it I knew why it
was so cheap: one size too small!

It really was a fine afternoon for myself.

Sometimes we all need such days, right?

Next blog entry will be about
...

Happiness.

And as for now... I continue watching
the kdrama and doing some Korean studies
afterwards.

Yes, I started studying Korean.
Haha.

안녕겨세요!

Up until now from New Year's on

Hey Girls,

how are you doing?
It's been a while - since Christmas exactly - that I wrote.
A lot of things have happened - to be honest, not so many funny things at all but it works out step by step.

The first few days I spent with last exam preparations, when the final exams, work again and that's my usual schedule: work, work, work.
I ran out of energy and I have to make it through.

Right now I also apply for different hospitals to work as a nurse afterwards.
The first was today and if the trainee day is fine I hope that they want to work with me because the conditions are pretty good.
It would be trauma surgery.

The staff executive asked me today at which ward I would like to work and I replied immediately "Trauma surgery!" without thinking - in the end it's like that.
You have many different cases and different stuff to do - although it's kind of more stressful than other wards it's another kind of stress.

I will also look for other options like outpatient departments, private clinics, etc.
So a lot to do from now on.

As I said: no fun things at all. (T_T)
But only for 7 more weeks!
Then I just have to pass the oral exam but it's within a 2 weeks break, so more time to rest.

Writing about more positive and better things:

Did you already give up your New Year's resolutions?
As for me I didn't have any... up until now.
Right now I made some since I started a new diary, too.

♪ Hold and gain 2kg weight
All the years I was annoyed about my weight, but now I want to gain at least 2-3kg this year.

♪ One Portfolio for Tokyopop
I'm already preparing stuff for a portfolio - a story I really want to draw and get printed!

♪ Travelling
I want at least see London or Amsterdam this year - I really want to see Tokyo, too and try to get into a programme therefore. It would only be for a week but that's fine with me

♪ Practising Japanese even more!

♪ Being nicer to people - esp. to my parents
We really did fight a lot in the past and that is something that was first of all caused by the stress of living together in a small flat and also by the stress I project on them.

♪ Therefore: an own flat.
I'm really looking forward to it. I may will share one with a friend but this wouldn't be so bad?

Good things which happened up until now:

♫ I made up with two people to whom I lost contact three years ago.
We all were so relieved... <3

♫ A former friend of mine wants to make up after two years and I will try to meet her tomorrow

♫ I bought a lot of nice art materials and I'm so in love with water colors!

♫ The green tes growth energizer by ANNY really helped out my nails! They are stronger and more resistable! The 10€ were worth it. I polish them with the extract everyday and right now they are really strong so I could let them grow (if they wouldn't be in the may for work :D").
And it smells so nice <3

Merry Christmas everyone

So, how are you my dears?
Today was Christmas eve and I really had a nice time.
But first, after getting up and preparing some things here and there I had to choose my Christmas outfit.
I really wanted to wear my new red dress, so it came out like that:

We first had a nice cake & coffee snack around 3pm.
That's how we usually do it:
On Christmas Eve I spend it with my parents, we drank coffee and eat some cake.
Afterwards, around 5pm we usually handing out the presents.
This year snow hasn't fallen again but we had nice Christmas music on the radio. ♥

I prepared two cakes - a citron cake and an orange-sourcream cake.
But the citron one didn't work out well... (T_T)

I had to throw it in the trash because somehow it wasn't done and you still had parts of raw pastry in it...
I don't know how this could happen but I have my suggestions.

"Nein Kuchen, ich habe dafür kein Verständnis! Nimm dir ein Beispiel am Apfelsinenschmand! DER wurde!"
("No cake, I can't understand this! Please look at the orange-sourcream... it knows how to work out well!")

Some great tasting vanilly crescents.
The upper one was an experiment with cocoa and lemon cest.

The great orange-sourcream cake.

The trash lemon cake.

So afterwards the presents were waiting for us.

This year we had a price limit because there were too many expenses but still there was a lot under our Christmas tree.

I received a nice Joke-a-day calendar (British English - i.e. British humour! ♥) from my dad, a new timer by paperblanks from my mom and the brandnew Billy Idol vinyl from both of them!!
And some very cute earrrings, fitting perfectly my red dress with dots and cherries! ♥
Really, that was wonderful. <3 Also a little makeup pouche... <3
I was so happy. ♥

My dear friend Marietta also sent me a little package with a candy cane and some... thread since she knows that I still cosplay.
And a selfmade cute Christmas card with the characters of Detective Conan (Hattori Heiji and Toyama Kazuha). ♥

Furthermore the Japan package from Azusa was finally to be opened ~

♥     ♥

Well, tomorrow I'll be at Lisa's.
I can't wait what she will say to the little presents I prepared. <3
We will have a relaxed and nice day. ♥

I already did some naildesign again - this time I tried out gradient nails.
It was easier than I thought - but still the left hand looks better than the right.

♥   ♥   ♥

So... and that was our Christmas plate.
You know... decorating it with sweets, candy, fruits
...
some little traditional German thing, I guess.

Have a nice Christmas!

Review: ANNY green tea growth energizer

Hello gals,

today I just want to give you a short review.
Today I went Christmas shopping and finally found all the presents.
I also had to buy a new mobile phone since my old one was dying after two years.

Since I rarely go to Douglas it was pretty nice to make a stop today.
I looked for a nice little present for my mother and found... a lot I wanted to buy.

Then I looked for some nail polish by ANNY and found another interesting article.

As you may know: working as a nurse I often have to sanatize my hands.
That means that my skin really becomes dry and sensitive after using the sanatizer too much.
Therefore I have my Polish handcream and it's okay after three days.
But my nails are really brittle.
Wearing nail polish is nearly impossible since it's splintered after 2 days.

So Douglas had two options:
Having a 2-3 weeks cure with Micro cell or trying out ANNYs green tea extract articles.
The problem with Micro cell is that you have to use it 2-3 weeks at a stretch and that won't work.
The green tea growth energizer have to be done a few days a week and it's more like a massage.
Moreover Micro cell costs twice the price since you need the special nail polish remover for 13€ !

Let's see if it works!
I tried it out this evening and after treatment the nails already feels a little bit better, less brittle.

You just have to drip it on your nails and cuticle, let it be for a short while and then massage it well enough.
It's 15ml, like a nail polish, 9,95€.
The product line also offers green tea sensitive hardener and hyaluronic shot.

And another thing I really liked:
Annayake parfum! ♥

This brand is expensive - you have to pay 70-80€ for a eau de toilette at douglas and around 50€ on other websites.
Still this fragrance really hit me!
I haven't smelled something like that before - it really reminds me of a festival.
Maybe someday I will buy it... but not for 80€ - haha.

♥ ♥

This weekend I spent with Lisa ~ maybe I will give you a short view of our
homemade photoshooting the next time I will write.

New Nails

Dear Gals,

today I decided spontaneously that my nails should be done.
Once in life I wanted to try it out and because I have eight weeks off (no hospital work at least) it's okay to do so.

I went shopping, find some nice things at least at Zeichencenter Ebeling and Hunkemöller  and then just let my nails done.

I didn't want something too extraordinary, so just a simple design
for the first (and last?) time.

EVANGELION nailart

*~*~ Hey Gals! ~*~*

Recently I'm really into "Neon Genesis Evangelion" again.
I'm looking forward to next year - 2015. ♥

My favourite character has always been and will always be Asuka.
(But after years I also really startes to like Misato!)

Hey, it's really cool to rewatch the series and finally be able to read some
of the written kanji on the black screens - especially in the last two episodes! ♥

And because I want a new nail art I looked for some Evangelion relavant stuff...
I'm happy to find an Asuka modified look on a nice website and tried it out just some time ago. ♥

It's still hard to draw and write with the left hand...

But still the "anta baka!?" is definitely readable. x3

Since there wasn't the thumb shown in the art example I chose to polish them red and black.

I splitted kanji of the name "soryu" on the left hand on the black fields and just did a "02" on the right thumb.

So to finish this entry a song I love because it's for Evangelion AND it's by Hikki ♥

Have you had a merry little Christmas?

Hey Gals! (/^▽^)/

How did you spend this year's Christmas?

I hope you had a merry time with your loved ones!
What did you get as a gift? ♥
Or did you receive many gifts?

As for me I couldn't celebrate Christmas at all thanks to work - So I just spent some time at Christmas Eve in the evening with my parents.
I was too tired so I just wear some comfortable stuff.
No photos are needed to be seen.^^

Anyway... we're handing out the presents.
It was pretty easy to get presents for my parents because they've written a wishlist.

But I really haven't got any wishes since a lot of things I want to have, I have to order online and they don't know the websites or seller. ^^;

So I wanted to be staggered!

That is our Christmas tree.
It's around 5,2" tall, so it's smaller than the one last year
but trees really got more and more expensive.

Some wrapped Christmas presents

I received really nice things - Most of all my cute plushie Oscar! (≡^∇^≡)

Usually I'm not that much into plushies anymore but Oscar the owl is just cute!

Since I sent one to a penpals child to Japan, I really wanted to have one for myself, too!
Now I got it! ♥

And the funny part: You can turn his head around! (~ ̄▽ ̄)~

My dear Oscar owl - and the Nightmare Before Christmas book! <3
I love the story of Jack & Co. so much and have been a fan for years now!

I also got the next collection of Kanji-cards.
They are pretty damn good but I wonder when I will start to study them at all? :')

Some other little things and 20€, too, that I spent today for another vinyl.
I love vinyl - really! The sound is so much better! ♥

My two dear penpals also sent me presents.
That was so wonderful!! T///T

From Azusa I got a pair of pretty cute ribbon earrings.

My mother also got a present from her and her little son chose something, too - a jewellery holder.
We first thought it's a photo frame. Haha.

Presents collection!

Chie wrote on the note for customs "2x hand creme" but in the end there was something else inside:

Beautiful wrapped up Anna Sui hand balm cream and nail polish! ♥

Wow! (´⊙ω⊙`)!

Anna Sui herbal hand creme and nail polish.
The cosmetics are pretty nice wrapped up! ♥

Before Azusa also sent me some a big Christmas package (you lovely crazy one!) with handy and cute things. (≡^∇^≡)

For example plush gloves that keeps you warm and a winter shirt with the Union Jack.

First I wondered how to wash it with the fur sleeves but in the end I figured out that you can just unbutton them.

 Great!

Guys, thank you that you thought about this twice!

And some Christmas decorations for my room - haha.

I love decoration stuff but I don't like to collect them at all because I haven't got enough space to store them! (T_T)

Mistletoe Christmas Bells

A reindeer

A tea-light holder my mother brought me from a Christmas Market today.
It shows a little scene in town during winter / Christmas time.

In this photo it looks a bit scary, doesn't it?

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

So, the next days after Christmas until 02nd January are FREE TIME ♥ o((*^▽^*))o

I have been looking forward to these six free days so much to relaxe and recover.
I'm not in my best shape because of work.

What will you do on New Year's Eve?
Will you have a party with friends?
Or is clubbing more your style?

Have you already decided your what ot wear?

I still have to think about it but I guess Make-up will be with a glitter part since I want to try out my new Anna Sui nail polish, too. ^^

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

So here's my last message of this year to you:

Please spend a nice time on New Year's Eve!
Have a great time with your loved ones or with yourself!
Think of the good things, this year had for you and keep
them in mind as a basement for starting the new year! ♥

Any New Year's resolutions so far?

I will start with one on 01/01 here in my blog!

Byebye! ♥
