The recent days

Hey gals!

I'm sorry that I didn't write anything at all the last three weeks but I have to say that I was in stress with studying and now I'm in stress with work, hobby deadlines and most of all midterm exam preparations.
Right now working with this heat is awful for me so that I feel clincal dead when I come home!
I'm sorry!! (T_T)

So today, I just want to write about some things that came up.
There may will be a lot of text and less photos - sorry again (;_;")

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

On Saturday, two weeks ago, I had a very exciting and funny day because I took part in a film shooting for a friends' application video. (she wants to study direction)*

My role was a teenie fangirl who is absolutely obsessed with some well known teenie star.

It was pretty hard for me to act so hyperactive and exaggerating... when I was at that age I NEVER behaven like that. ^^;

Furthermore the "teenie star" was acted by a trained young actor and so I didn't want to be burden for everyone since I only acted in a hobbylike group that is already three years ago. (>_<)
So I was pretty happy that he told me honestly that I acted well. Thank God!

I'm looking forward to watching the final result!

The rest of the day I went with a friend shopping because I looked for a nice German cookbook that I wanted to send to my Japanese penpal.
Happy me got one and did sent it right away! ^^
We ended up at McCafé as always and ate some Japanese food in a nearby restaurant.

* Of course I can't tell you the details of the 10 minutes movie but if you want to take a look what her work looks like - click here. Or here if you want to read the story of this linked movie.

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

Because we're already talking about penpals and so on...

I love exchanging mails & letters but... this month was too expensive!!

On the contrary I received a lot of delicious stuff...

... nice stationaries...

... and as a medical junkie... a Japanese book about anatomy
(since it's in English, too, I can learn both med languages)

Oh and there were more things.
Don't you think that the moly bunny is cute?
I love it! ♥
And the Pure jellys are my favourite ones!!

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

So then I also met up with another friend I haven't seen a while.
As always we went to a Asian restaurant - this time it was our favourite Korean one.

Mine was called Dubu Bokum and it was a rice bowl with fried tofu,
a lot of different vegetables and some side dishes..

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

And then I had a lot of time while I was in school so I did some nailart again.

I don't like wearing stripes as clothing but I really love stripes as part of nail art.

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

What do you think of these fruit-color hair dyeing?

In my opinion some styles weren't really pretty but but these two just called to me "Love us!" ♥
Haha... (〃∇〃)
I really would like to let one or more strands dyed but I'm not sure if it would look as I want it in the end.
So I'm still shilly-shally. ( ̄Д ̄;;

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

So that was a really messy entry! (((( ;°Д°))))
I hope to write again... much more organized and about much more interesting topics...
I'm really looking forward to my 3-week-holidays in eh... three weeks.
I'm out of energy!

But it's frustrating to know that these will be my last holiday until MARCH 2014!! (T____T)

read you soon again! ♥

Magazine package from Japan arrived! ♥

Hello gals!  ゜゚*☆

Today another package arrived and I was so surprised because I didn't expect it. \(゜□゜)/
My penpal sent me the "promised" one!
Oh my, so many great things to read!! (‐^▽^‐)

First two books about Japanese cuisine and the landscape.

The recipe book is pretty cool because it's in Japanese AND in English. ♥
There are a lot of great meals to deal with and in the end of the book they even show you how to work with special national vegetables, fruits, fish, etc.

The photobook also is really great! It gives you an impression of Japan in many many adorable pictures! (*^ー^)ノ

And now... the girlish part of it...

I wonder how the salesman or -woman looked like when S-kun bought these magazines!
Poor S-kun!! I'm so sorry for such an embarrassing task! ... No, I'm actually not! xD

- Sweet 05/13
- AneCan 06/13
- Hair arrange special magazine

For sure... the two fashion magazines are soooo thick... around 400p. !!
Wow!  (≧▽≦)

And the hair tutorial magazine is amazing!
The model Yuka is the cover girl for this issue and there's an interview in the mag with her, too!  (〃∇〃)
(She got the female lead role in the dorama "papa wa doru" - maybe you have seen it)

Ah, I'm really happy now! ♥

I will definitely show you some pictures, outfits, etc. of the magazines and I hope to try out the tutorials and recipes soon!  (^ε^)♪

New shoes ♥ Japanese novel recommends

Today I just had to do the shopping and I went by Deichmann. (〃∇〃)

I still needed some flat shoes for summer.
I was lucky to find these cute ones showing in the picture below! ~ ♥
And I even didn't need to buy a bigger size... but a smaller one... (°__°)"

That was surprising (haha). ♥

I really like them! (*⌒∇⌒*)

The surface is leatherlike, the ribbon, the gems and the small books looks pretty cute and they are really comfortable.
Moreover there is a small heel but only about 2-3cm, so I can walk with them all day.

I'm looking forward to nice weather again to present them the world. ♥

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

Recently, I started reading books by Japanese authors.

In my opinion the style totally differs from western authors and so I want to recommend you two of my favourite writers.

First is Yoshimoto Banana.
This woman can write so well and touching and in a very refreshing way.

If you like to have some young spirits-book, please read "Tsugumi".
It's about the friendship of two girls - one is extroverted, one is a bit more introverted.
Tsugumi is something like a tsundere girl, likes to play pranks and is very direct in her way of speach and also sassy in behaviour. Maybe also very self-fish and hard to handle.
Her friend Maria is the opposite way and you may ask yourself how such an friendship can last. But that's the whole point in the story: It did.

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

The book "Dornröschenschlaf" (Eng. title "Asleep") consist of three stories:
"Night and Night's Travelers", "Love Songs" and "Asleep". Compared to "Tsugumi" the stories are much more depressive and are about real life problems like depression, suicide or alcohol.
Each story discusses relationships between people and how they affect our lifes.

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

The same goes for the book "Kitchen", consisting "Kitchen" and "Moonlight shadow".
Somehow it reminds me of the short stories of Franz Kafka, which are also much more depressive than it's good for one's own sake.

But you really would miss something if you don't read Yoshimoto Banana's books!

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

The other author I want to introduce is Kawakami Hiromi and her book "Der Himmel ist blau, die Erde ist weiß" ("Sensei no kaban").

You may have heard of the same named graphic novel. This is the real story it is based on!

It tells the story of Tsukiko and her "Sensei" from former highschool days - first we only meet by coincidence in a pub and afterwards love keeps developing until it hits both of them.

The relationship after the confession is written pretty briefly.
More important is the story before: the quirks of the old and etiquette retaining teacher in comparison to the modern life of a single woman in her forties. Trips, meetings and how they get to know each others world.

There are a lot of scens that makes you smirk and in the end I'm still sad that the book ended so suddenly. (haha)

Please read it, if you want to read some realistic but special love story.
Don't be scared, it isn't cheesy at all!

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

Today is such a rainy day... I will keep doing chores,
studying and just relaxing, eating an onigiri. ^^
