Leipzig bookfair 2014

Hello my dear Gals!

How have you been?
As I told you before I was in Leipzig, ready to attend the bookfair a week ago.

It was a pretty nice weekend, starting from Friday evening on.
Travelling with the Interconnex from Berlin to Leipzig was really relaxing.
I took the chance to read a bit more about Tokyo in my cityguide, which Kotone sent me, and listened to relaxing drama soundtracks.

In Leipzig central station I had enough time to look around (It's nice to be there since it's like a whole shopping mall).

Getting my train to Leipzig Messe and finally took the taxi to the guesthouse I arrived there around 8 o'clock.
Lisa and I didn't do anything special then.

Just finishing her dress with some stitches (that we couldn't do because I got sick when we wanted to meet), watching Pocahontas on TV and went early to bed... but just kept talking another hour .... because we can! (our weekend's slogan).

After getting ready on Saturday morning we took the taxi to the bookfair.
It was just easy, comfortable and warm but cheap, too, so we decided to use this on the way there and the way back for Sunday, too.

Nanami Haruka & Shibuya Tomochika
Uta no Prince-sama ~♪

Arriving at the bookfair we just "checked in" meeting a friend of Lisa who was with us for some time.
It was a good idea to have an own hall for manga & comic stuff but still the bookfair is too crowded (and on Sunday it seems pretty empty ~w) We did not buy anything at the stalls.

Around afternoon/early evening while wandering around we found our lovely dear Uta no Prince-sama cosplay group. It really was a coincidence but thanks to that we met wonderful people and kept the contact afterwards, too. A lot of funny photos followed. ♥

When we returned to the guesthouse Lisa was so tired that she was fast asleep while I was washing and drying my hair in the bathroom. xD

The next morning we had to get up a little bit earlier because it was the last day and we had to leave with our luggage. The guesthouse owner's wife was so cute. ♥

Lisa said, that she always wants to see the costumes we made and so we showed ourself in our dresses.
She was amazed and you could seen in her eyes how happy she was, remembering the time of rock'n'roll, petticoat & co. So cute! ♥

She told us that she was a professional sewer in earlier days and that she liked to have the biggest the fullest petticoat out of everyone. I feel a little bit ashamed because I just can sew stuff in my very own clumsy way. xD"

So, spending the day at the bookfair was more than relaxed. In the afternoon we met some people from the day before and had a nice time with them again! ♥

In the end I even bought an Alpaka - FINALLY! ♥
(and it was too popular among old ladies and the train stuff xD)

This is Flöckchen! ♥

Nice point of the day: I looked for Lau on Sunday (it was much easier to find people than on the crowded Saturday) and found her ♥
I'm glad!
Although you know a little bit about people when you're reading their blogs, it's a bigger difference to talk to them, of course.
I  got a good first impression of her!  ~ haha. ;3

Around late afternoon we just took our suitcases and went to Leipzig central station early.
We were too tired to stay until the end and so Lisa and I just got something to eat and waited for our train which head off to Berlin around 7pm.

One of my absolute favourite shots this day. ♥

All in all it was a pretty nice event, almost like every year.
We laughed a lot, met a lot of old and new acquaintances, took a lot of pictures... and I felt stalked by too many Alpakas until I bought one!

I am really looking forward to next year, since the cosplays are already decided and fabrics are ordered.
But that's another topic to talk about.

Also the fact, that I finally will redecorate my room, since I'm on vacation (just have to work on Wednesday) and decided on colours for painting today.
